The annual Sac-Anime Con
featured more than just anime viewing, gaming, dealers, and panels. This
year it featured two Japanese Music groups: Art Beat from the Los Angels
area and Akai Sky from the Bay Area. Though the words were Japanese,
these two bands rocked the con attendees with familiar songs and hitting
music. |
Akai Sky (red sky) opened the
concert with their J-Pop and J-Rock sound. Their performance line up
included many popular songs, such as "Ready Steady Go" by Larc~en~Ciel,
the very popular Full Metal Alchemist opening song. |
The smexy Asian men of Art
Beat set the fan girls on fire with their performance during the second
half of the concert/dance. This band came up from LA to perform their
own style of J-Rock and the crowd really loved them. Thank you to both
bands for their wonderful performance. |
