Welcome to my journal. I am leaving my thoughts and experiences here in hope that someone will help me find Yusuke.
My birth.... I was brought into this world in May 2005. At first I was just a couple of sketches on a piece of paper, but my creator (BSaphire) put her heart into my new existence. With the pattern pieces all cut out of cloth, she started to work on putting me together. In my world I hatched from an egg, but I needed help to make my transformation into this alternate universe. I'd like to tell you that my emergence into this world was effortless, but that wouldn't be a fair or accurate representation of what really happened. I struggled to cross the barrier several times, during the process of creating my new form in this world, and would finally make it when BSaphire finished my new form. Everyone was looking for Yusuke since the tournament. No one was sure what happened to him we only knew that he was missing. Hiei, Youko, Kuwabara, Junior, and myself looked everywhere, including the spirit world, and had no luck finding any trace of him. King Yama agreed that he was missing and told us to find him. It was then that I found out about this world. King Yama sent spirit police over first, but when they didn't return he grew more concerned. Fearing the worst, King Yama had a barrier placed in front of the gate to prevent anyone else from using it. It was then that the troubles really started happening in my world and all the leads on Yusuke pointed to him being in another reality. I decided that I would go over and look for him. Crossing over isn't the only hard part. I found that my new form has benefits and limitations. Some of the limitations are: I can't fly, I struggle to eat with this mouth, I always feel full since I'm stuffed with rice, and getting around is quite a challenge. The benefits are I am very loved, I hang out with some really cool characters, I get lots of hugs, and I am making new friends. Fortunately for me, I have a really good lead on where to find Yusuke. I found out that lots of characters go to something called anime conventions. There are gatherings, cosplay, movies, games, and some have tournaments. I figure a tournament is where I will find Yusuke so I have to figure out a way to get there. Looks like BSaphire is going to one called Fanime 05.... I'll try there first. Fanime 2005... This is my first visit to a convention. I heard that Yusuke is here somewhere, but he isn't in his tournament outfit. This place is huge and there are thousands of people, where do I look first? Friday: I am having some fun, although King Yama isn't. Seems that he is sick right now from something he ate. I haven't had any luck finding Yusuke, but I have been meeting people and they seem to know who I am. They keep squishing me! It's called glomping or hugging, and even though I feel a little squished it makes me feel good inside. I have found out why people know me. There seems to be a window into my world that people from this world can see through. There are other worlds too. The people in this world call these windows anime. Sometimes they are also called games, but each widow is given a name. My world is called Yu Yu Hakusho and they have been watching all of us for quite some time. People here know Yusuke, Hiei, Youko, Kurama, Kuwabara, Botan, Yukina, and lots of others from my world. I guess they have watched me hatch, seen me protecting Yusuke, and even seen me in my ultimate form which protects Yusuke when he changes into his demon form while he is in the spirit world. They all seem to like me and I don't mind being hugged from time to time. Saturday: King Yama isn't feeling any better today. Maybe he should go back to the spirit world? I have found out that there are going to be lots of people from my world hanging out at this convention. I also found out that tomorrow night Shishiwakamaru, Kuwabara, Hiei, Youko, Kuronue, Koto, Juri, Touya, King Yama, Junior, and myself are going to go on stage in something called "Der Cosplay." It will be nice to see everyone from my world, but what are we going to do on stage? I'll think about that later, for now I need to find leads on Yusuke and hopefully I will run into the others while I look around. Sunday: Ok, I have heard reports that Yusuke was here Friday, but no one has seen him since. King Yama is feeling better, but he isn't running around helping me find Yusuke yet. I saw lots of people from my world! It was weird though, I saw several Hiei's....? Only one seemed to recognize me though and I had trouble communicating with him.
Sac Con 05... Yaoi Con 2005... I made it to another convention. This one is a little different from the last one though. I'm not sure if Yusuke will show up here, but King Yama and I are going to run around con and see if we can find any leads.
Marysville Christmas Parade 05... I'm getting out for the night and hanging with some new peeps. We are going to walk in a Christmas parade, though I don't know what exactly Christmas is, but it sounds like fun. EVERYONE is COLD as we stand in the parade line up. Finally we get to move. There are lots of kids and they all seem to want candy. A few recognize King Yama and I, but mostly InuYasha. What does he got that I don't have!!! I'm super cute, friendly, and blue, but his red outfit and hat must remind the kids of Santa Claus. I'm still having fun though, meeting all the kids, and everyone in our group is playing catch-up with the other parade peeps. Not everyone is human in this parade. I have seen horses, goats, donkey's and a dog or two. They seem to be having fun and they aren't as cold as the rest of us. I want to eat the candy because I'm so hungry, but I look forward to eating when we get done.
Now that the parade is over it is time for FOOD!!! Quizno's is the choice for most, so after we take some group photos everyone places their orders. There is lots of talk and laughter, which is something else I like about this world, and I manage to get bites of sandwich, some soup, and the cookies are pretty good. I stayed away from the potato chips because they are a little salty to me. I had fun tonight and we all had a pretty good work-out trying to stay up with the rest of the parade. I think I'll go to another one, I just hope it is warmer when I do.
JTAF 05... Going to con with BSaphire can be a lot of fun, but I don't like being in the rain, and there seems to be quite a bit lately. I have been feeling a little down. I miss home and my friends. It's cold, Youko and Hiei have disappeared, no sight of Yusuke, and I really need a hug.
Sacramento Comic Toy and Anime Faire 3/12/06... A day trip, YEAH!!! I need some sun and fun. A hug or two won't hurt either, but I have heard that Yusuke is definitely going to be here! Youko Kurama, Hiei, and Touya are going to show up after King Yama and I are on stage. King Yama is looking for Junior along with Yusuke, but I think he is still upset with Junior for disobeying him. At first I was afraid that I would be stuck in the car, but King Yama came back to get me. Seems that he and I will be going on stage early (#3) and I will have a chance to really see all the other peeps and the skits. Oh my gosh!!! King Yama introduced me to the audience and that was really cool, but he just had to reference that honey gobbling, short, pudgy little bear Whinny! Of course I'm not Whinny, I'm the cute protector of Yusuke Urameshi who is currently AWOL from our world. How am I supposed to do my job and protect him if he disappears on everyone? The other thing King Yama mentioned was Junior! Junior!! What about Yusuke?!. He had the perfect opportunity to find out if anyone has seen Yusuke and he asks about JUNIOR? To top that off, this stuffed chibi version of him shows up and King Yama spanks him! The audience thought it was funny, but it doesn't help us to find Yusuke.
There are lots of cool cospeeps and I got my loving... hugs that is... and I feel better. I hope Youko, Hiei, or Touya have had some luck locating Yusuke. I have heard from some peeps that they have seen him and that he is going to join up with the guys after the cosplay. I don't think King Yama has heard about the gathering so I need to convince him to go. Finally, I will find Yusuke and we can go home to Botan and Yukina, I really miss them. DARN IT!!! I got stuck in the car and BSaphire saw him! How will I ever be able to get home if I can't even get to Yusuke? I also found out that Yukina was there. I wonder if she misses me too?
Sakura-Con #9 2006... I'm going to Sakura-Con in Seattle, WA with King Yama and BSaphire. I don't like the way I have to travel though. I got stuffed into a bag. What is up with this! I didn't get to go and do anything at JTAF and now I'm in a bag! What happened to riding in the back seat where I could look out the windows? I hope there is some new lead on where Yusuke has gone to. It's Friday and this sucks! I'm stuck in the room!!! How can I find Yusuke if King Yama and BSaphire won't take me with them? I'll try looking cute and see if that works...... It's Saturday morning and my chances look good to leave this room and go find Yusuke. No, wait a minute, King Yama is really in a bind. Darn it! Looks like I will have to stay here an entertain myself again..... OH YEAH!!! I'm going! Looks like BSaphire is a sucker for my blue cuteness! I can't wait! I need HUGS!!! I want Pocky! Pretty girls and some random fun would be great too! WOW!!! Meeting all these cospeeps and guests has been exciting! Going to the Dark Horse Comics panel and seeing Toneberry there was quite a surprise. He didn't tell me at JTAF3 that he was going, of course he doesn't say a lot and just acts on impulse. I think I will have to start a photo album to take back with me. I want pictures of all my friends and the nice people I have met. For only being out and about one day.... I had fun. Next time I will have to pull out my blue sweetness and charm early so that I can meet people and hopefully find some new leads on Yusuke. |
