Draco Q & A

Welcome to all ^^). This segment of "In the Spotlight" features cosplayer Elizabeth  (not "Liz") Stevenson (aka Draco) who attended the Sac~Anime Con (July 30-31, 2005) held in the Sunrise Mall which is located in Citrus Heights, California.

Elizabeth is known for her cosplay of "Vash the Stampede" from Trigun. She has also cosplayed "street clothes Grave" from Gungrave. Trigun and Gungrave are by Geneon Entertainment.

I first met Elizabeth at Japan Town Anime Fair 2 held in San Francisco, California. She was one of three "Vashes" that I had pose with my daughter, who was dressed up as "Youko Kurama" from Yu Yu Hakusho.

It was a fun shoot and the first of many.

Killing the Henti Fox ^^)

Yu Yu Hakusho is by FUNimation.

The next time I saw Elizabeth was at Anime Overdose 05, which was also in San Francisco, California. She teamed up with the Smexy Vash from JTAF2 and another female crossplayer. Here she debuted her winged Vash.

But Elizabeth also cosplays Street clothes Grave. She brought this costume to the 3rd Sac Comic, Toy, and Anime Fair and paired up with a Bounge and Brandon Heat. Brandon Heat and her joined in on the cosplay fun to show of the sexy Brandon/Grave moves with guns. See all of those pics here.

We last met up with each other at the Sac~AnimeCon05. On Saturday she crossplayed Vash, and with the help of two different "Wolfwoods," she got really into character and came up with these poses. They turned out really good, and some were just plain cosplay random fun~ness. See all of those pics here. This is where I told here about my new direction in Con Reports and asked her if she would like to be one of the featured persons in my "In the Spotlight" segment. She thought it was awesome, and said yes!!!

A little fun and the very "Vash" poses ^^)

As you can tell that Elizabeth is really easy going and fun loving. She has a great sense of humor too.

What I recently learned about Elizabeth is that she is an artist too. She posts her work on DeviantArt.com as DragonKeeper333. Here is just some of her art.

Elizabeth says,

"I like this picture, because it so far has been one of my most successful digitally colored pics. I'm most proud of it since I'm still fairly new to digitally coloring my drawings. it took MANY hours to do and just makes me happy. ^^

Elizabeth says,

"I mainly like this one because it's one of the very few pictures I was inspired to draw from looking at a photograph that you (BSaphire) took of me as Vash from Trigun and what's his name as Wolfwood from Trigun. It's one of my quickest shaded drawings too.

Elizabeth says,

"This picture took a while to shade, but one of my most favored Cowboy Bebop pics that features Spike Spiegel and my own created character for the show, Isis Furmatoff

Thank you Draco, it has been a lot of fun to do photo shoots with you. Don't anyone leave just yet.... There is more. Each segment of "In the Spotlight" also features Questions and Answers for the person in the spotlight. So with that said... here's Q & A for Draco...
